Lincoln Jigs are pleased to announce the acquisition of a new Milling machine (Gerald) building yet further on our CNC machining production capabilities following the purchase of a new Doosan lathe only 2 years ago.
The solution based CMX V 800 with direct measuring system will allow us to work on even more sophisticated designs and find innovative, high quality solutions for our customers.
The accuracy of positioning in all axes will allow precision and detail in every component. Thermal compensation will ensure stable and precise production even for larger items.
The new machine also sees the expansion of the workshop space here at Lincoln Jigs with an additional 1000 square foot added to the engineering facility.
Lincoln Jigs leads the way in engineering technology with the acquisition of a brand new and exciting 5 axis twin spindle CNC lathe. This new asset will enable us to continue to manufacture the high quality parts for which we are known but within an even more efficient timeframe.
The new Doosan Lynx 220LSYA CNC Lathe is a high speed multi tasking turning centre featuring a sub spindle and “Y” axis to do away with the need for secondary machining operations. This will ensure we can continue to manufacture consistent high quality parts but within a shorter time frame and to higher quantity if required. Tim, Rob and Paul, our skilled and experienced team of programmers and engineers will be able to work closely with existing and new customers to see whether a product will benefit from production on the new machine and what advantages it can offer.
